The Magic of Massage Therapy

I was going through intense physical therapy to recover after surgery, and every day I went to bed with sore, achy muscles. Finally, my physical therapist suggest I give massage therapy a try. Massage therapy really helped me relax and unwind after a hard day at physical therapy, but I think it also helped speed my recovery. It helped with blood flow and circulation, and I really felt much better after every session. I liked it so much that I kept going even after I was fully recovered. I started this blog to talk about the magic of massage therapy. It really helped me, and I believe that it can really help others as well. 2 Tests That Your Eye Doctor Is Going To Do

As you age, you may end up having to wear glasses even if you never have before. It's just a part of life. All the tiny parts of your eye that used to be able to work really well just don't work as well, and it makes it hard for your eyes to focus in. When that happens, you need to go see an eye doctor. The doctor is going to examine your eyes to see what the problem is and to make sure that it's just natural aging and presbyopia and not something else. The doctor is going to do a lot of tests to diagnose your eyes and tell you what is going on. 

Pressure Test

One of the tests that the eye doctor is going to do will test the pressure of your eyes. The reason that they are going to do this is because if you have glaucoma, the pressure in your eyes is going to get higher. The test is not one that people tend to like because it involves a machine that is going to touch your eyeball. The tip of the machine will be all lit up and the doctor will gently push it towards your eyeball. You are going to have to stay still, look forward, and not close your eye. Once the machine reaches your eye, the test only takes a moment. 

Dilation

Another test that your eye doctor will do is to dilate your eyes. The reason that they are going to dilate your eyes is because that causes the pupil to open up as wide as it will go. That will let the doctor get a good look at the inside of your eye and see what is going on in there. That can help them diagnose things like cataracts. The doctor will do this test in a dark room because the dilation will make your eyes more light sensitive. The doctor will look into your eyes with a special lens with some light. They will make you look in different directions so that they can get the best look into your eye possible. 

All of the tests and measurements that your eye doctor is going to do to your eyes is all for your health and to make sure that all you need is a pair of glasses and that you don't need to do something else to your eyes.
