About Me

The Magic of Massage Therapy

I was going through intense physical therapy to recover after surgery, and every day I went to bed with sore, achy muscles. Finally, my physical therapist suggest I give massage therapy a try. Massage therapy really helped me relax and unwind after a hard day at physical therapy, but I think it also helped speed my recovery. It helped with blood flow and circulation, and I really felt much better after every session. I liked it so much that I kept going even after I was fully recovered. I started this blog to talk about the magic of massage therapy. It really helped me, and I believe that it can really help others as well. If you’ve been wanting to learn what massage therapy is like and how it helps, you’ll find the answers here on my blog.

4 Signs That You Need To Visit Your OBGYN

It is important to know the signs of trouble that may indicate that it's time to schedule an appointment with your OBGYN. To help you with this, you might want to take a few moments to review the following points.

Consistent Pelvic Pain

Having a little pelvic pain and discomfort around the time of your menstrual cycle is normal. However, if you are noticing that you are experiencing a lot of pelvic pain throughout the entire month and it is happening every month, you might have a problem that your OBGYN will need to look into, like ovarian cysts or endometriosis. There are various things that could be causing the pain and all will require tests to figure out the diagnosis.

Bleeding Between Periods

Break through bleeding, or bleeding that happens between periods, is nothing to be concerned about if it rarely happens. However, if this is something that is happening one month after another, you will want to quickly schedule an appointment with your OBGYN. You could have an injury to your vagina or it could be something as severe as a sign of cancer. Either way, you will want to find out the cause and if there is anything that can be done about it.

Sex Is Painful

Sex should not be a painful experience. If it is, then you might want to schedule an appointment with your OBGYN, as this could be a sign of a serious problem. You may have an infection, excessive vaginal dryness, or a uterine fibroid. Some of the conditions that cause these symptoms can be treated with over-the-counter products or a prescription medication.

Trouble With Urinating Or Bowel Movements

If you have trouble with bowel movements or trouble urinating, an OBGYN may be able to assist you. The fact is, these symptoms could be a sign that you are experiencing trouble with your pelvic floor. This is a problem that sometimes occurs in women after childbirth, as the pelvic muscles become weak. Your OBGYN can examine you to determine if simple pelvic muscle exercises can do the trick or if you will need further options.

With those four signs in mind, you should have no trouble determining whether it is time to call an OBGYN like Abortion Care for an appointment. The sooner you make your appointment, the sooner you will be able to get any treatment that you might need so that you can be your old self once again.
